About

I am a professor of political methodology stationed at the University of Zurich in beautiful Switzerland. My research has two mainl foci. First, I am interested in political decision making and its facilitation through political institutions. Second, I am interested in developing methodological tools that help us to understand political decision making. My current research focuses on causal inference, deep learning, affective polarization, political identities, and democratic innovation. In my spare time, I like to cook, travel, and play the drums.
